You’re busy. Really busy. Or maybe you’re not, but you’re busy trying to be busy. Whatever the reason, it’s hard for you to do a great job of keeping your doors open and stay on top of your digital marketing at the same time.
That doesn’t always mean you’re ready to hire your own digital marketing manager, though.
That’s where the Virtual Marketing Manager service comes in. I’ll take your entire marketing function off your hands and act as your outsourced marketing manager. This gives you all the benefits of having a marketing team on speed dial without the headaches of hiring (or paying for) your own marketing staff.
The Virtual Marketing Manager is designed for businesses that are busy to the point that their marketing needs to grow, but they aren’t quite ready to hire a marketing manager internally. You may have a handful of external specialists and contractors working for you, or you may be trying to do it all yourself. It’s all a question of time, followed by a question of expertise.
Keeping tabs on Google Ads, SEO, Meta, Email, Programmatic, Video, organic social, and YouTube can all get a bit much, particularly when you have to worry about actually providing your service on top of that.
With a Virtual Marketing Manager, you can simply hand all of your marketing functions to Stark Digital. We’ll take over the strategy, budgeting, and management of your channels (including any contractors you’re using), and give you back your time so you can focus on building an amazing business.
If you don’t have contractors, we can also provide the marketing services themselves.
You could, but I’m not for hire in that way.
The Virtual Marketing Manager is more for businesses that need help managing multi-channel marketing but they aren’t ready for a full-time marketing manager.
If you need a full-time marketing manager, better get that Seek job ad up…
Yes. Before I begin the service, I always analyse your current results. If I think a contractor is doing a good job, I’ll suggest you keep using them. I’ll simply take over managing their workflow.
Generally, the VMM service is cheaper if I’ll only be managing contractors
I’ll level with you – possibly not. My specialities lie in digital marketing, and while I have experience in radio, print, and OOH advertising, it isn’t a strength of mine.
That said, all I need is a brief and a budget, and I can figure out the rest.
Unfortunately, yes. Given the volume of work involved with the Virtual Marketing Manager services, Stark Digital can only take on two VMM clients at a time.
To find out if Stark Digital has availability to take on your business, get in touch today.
Most likely.
Our agreement will have a fixed set of responsibilities each month, and while I’m happy to be flexible on workloads, the more services you need me to manage, the more time I need to dedicate to your business.
Alternatively, if you decide to stop a particular marketing activity, then the price most likely goes down.
Yes.
As a full service digital marketing agency, we can run Google Ads, SEO, social media advertising, email marketing, and a few more services.
Obviously, the more services you want Stark Digital to manage, the more service will cost, but there’s still a good chance that it’ll be cheaper than paying multiple contractors separately.
And once you factor the time spent dealing with multiple contractors, you’ll be saving time and money.
It’s unlikely, and any equipment you purchase will be yours to own.
In terms of computers, phones, or technical equipment, I’ll come with all of that.
The VMM service isn’t necessarily a training role, but if you have an in-house team that needs some co-ordination or training, I can provide that.
You’ll get the hours required to make your campaigns work for you. To set expectations correctly, the number of hours each month will vary and I don’t record my time. Because it is a fixed-cost service (i.e. you’ll pay a monthly retainer, not an hourly rate), the proof is in the proverbial pudding.
I can’t stand flatlining campaigns, so if I have to over deliver hours to get things working, then that’s what I’ll do. Some months, however, things will be going great, so I may take the foot of the gas a little. That’s the luxury a retainer affords you.
This might sound strange, but if you cancel your service because you’ve grown enough to justify an in-house marketing manager, we’ll consider our efforts a success.
The VMM service can last as long as you want it to, and it can successfully run for 12-24 months, but sooner or later you’ll need to hire internally.
Don’t worry: I can even help you find and interview candidates if that helps.
